Product Supplied- GRP Rebar

Artist Jason DeCaires Taylor was creating an underwater museum, consisting of a series of sculptural installations installed 12m beneath the ocean’s surface. These sculptures will also create an artificial reef for marine life, giving them a new habitat.

Why GRP?

Due to its non-corrosive properties, our GRP rebar was the perfect product to use as the sculptures are placed within the water, and therefore directly exposed to sea salt water/corrosion. The GRP will not corrode in these conditions, meaning it will outlast steel rebar and also extend the life of the sculptures.
