GRP hollow tube 9.5mm outside diameter 3mm inside diameter 6m long

Pultruded GRP hollow tube manufactured using continuous E glass fibre reinforcement within an isophthalic polyester resin system. With a 9.5mm outside diameter, 3mm internal bore and a relatively thick wall section for its size, this tube delivers excellent stiffness, electrical insulation and resistance to corrosion despite its slim profile. Its lightweight composite construction makes it particularly effective in applications where space is limited but mechanical reliability and non conductivity are still required.

Commonly used in electrical and electronic assemblies as an insulating tube for spacers, sleeves and protective elements where small diameters are required. The tube performs well in control systems, instrumentation supports and cable management applications where metallic components could introduce conductivity or interference.

Frequently specified in marine, outdoor and laboratory environments for lightweight structural elements, guide tubes and protective housings exposed to moisture, humidity or chemical contact. Its resistance to corrosion and environmental degradation makes it suitable for long term use without maintenance.

Also utilised in model engineering, fabrication, display systems and bespoke mechanical assemblies where precision, dimensional stability and ease of machining are important. The tube can be easily cut and drilled using standard tools, allowing accurate integration into detailed or compact designs.
