GRP Solid Top Grating
Engineered Composites supplies GRP solid top grating manufactured with a continuous closed surface layer over a mesh substructure. It provides all the structural efficiency and corrosion resistance of moulded GRP grating while eliminating drainage through the walking surface, making it the correct specification for chemical processing areas, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and any application where liquid spillage must be contained or small contaminants prevented from falling below.
The standard panel is based on a 50x50mm mesh substructure with solid top, 50mm depth, 3660x1220mm panel size at 143kg per panel. Surface options include gritted for R13 wet slip resistance, smooth for easy decontamination in pharmaceutical applications, and chequered for general industrial use. Solid top panels can be cut to size as part of the free cut-to-size service.
