GRP hollow tube 48.5mm outside diameter 35mm inside diameter 6m long

Pultruded GRP hollow tube manufactured using continuous E glass fibre reinforcement combined with an isophthalic polyester resin system to deliver a high strength, corrosion resistant composite tube. With a 48.5mm outside diameter, 35mm internal diameter and a substantial wall thickness, this tube provides increased stiffness and load carrying capability while remaining significantly lighter than steel alternatives. Its non conductive and moisture resistant properties make it suitable for long term use in electrically sensitive, corrosive or outdoor environments.

Regularly specified in infrastructure, utilities and industrial projects where a larger diameter non metallic tube is required for structural support, spacing or containment. The tube performs well in equipment frames, support legs and protective assemblies where electrical insulation and resistance to environmental exposure are essential.

Well suited to marine, coastal and wastewater environments where steel or aluminium tubing would suffer from corrosion or require protective coatings. The GRP construction offers reliable long term performance in wet, humid or chemically aggressive conditions with minimal maintenance requirements.

Also used in heavy duty fabrication, modular structures, safety systems and bespoke engineered assemblies where increased rigidity is required without the added weight or conductivity of metal. The tube can be cut, drilled and fixed using standard tools, allowing efficient handling and installation despite its larger size.
