Lightweight, non-conductive GRP hollow tube manufactured by pultrusion using E-glass fibres and isophthalic polyester resin. This 12.5mm outer diameter tube with 4mm bore and 4.25mm wall thickness delivers excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance and electrical insulation properties.
Widely specified across radio, telecommunications and broadcast sectors for antenna masts, aerial supports and equipment housings where RF transparency and non-conductivity are essential. Proven performance in marine environments including yacht rigging, boat canopy frames, navigation equipment mounts and deck fittings, offering superior saltwater corrosion resistance compared to aluminium or steel alternatives.
Also ideal for fencing posts, tent poles, electrical spacers, handrail systems, structural stays, lobster pot markers and mechanical assemblies where metal is unsuitable due to conductivity, corrosion or weight. Maintenance-free, UV resistant and easily cut, drilled or machined with standard tools.
