GRP Deck500 Interlocking Flooring System
Deck500 is a pultruded GRP interlocking flooring panel, 500mm over width, with a tongue-and-groove joint running along the length of each plank. The joint creates a firm, sealable connection between lengths, producing a continuous solid surface that prevents water penetration and seals odour-producing areas in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Deck500 is designed to span 1.5m at a load of 5 kN/m2 with a deflection limit of L/200. It complies with BS 4592-4, BS 4592-5, BS EN ISO 14122-2, EN 13706 Grade E23, and is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015. Available from UK stock, it is widely used on pedestrian bridges, cooling tower decks, odour control covers, wastewater treatment unit covers, and rail and utility maintenance platforms.
GRP DECK500
Pultruded GRP Interlocking Flooring for Walkways, Bridges, and Water Treatment
Deck500 combines the corrosion resistance, electrical non-conductivity, and lightweight handling of GRP with the structural performance of a specifically engineered flooring profile. Each plank is manufactured to a consistent 500mm width, allowing wide walkways and platform surfaces to be built by laying planks side by side with interlocking tongue-and-groove joints. The result is a solid, anti-slip surface that can be installed and removed without specialist tools.
In water treatment applications, the sealed joint prevents odour escape from tanks and sumps while providing safe maintenance access. In bridge and public access applications, the gritted surface delivers R13 wet slip resistance without painting or surface treatments. Load data is independently verified per EN 13706 Annex D.

Sealable Odour and Water Control
The tongue-and-groove joint creates a sealed surface ideal for covering water and wastewater treatment tanks, cooling tower decks, and any area requiring containment of odour or water penetration.
Proven Structural Performance
Deck500 load data is calculated from full section modulus measurements per EN 13706 Annex D. At 1.5m span and 5 kN/m2 loading, it meets the requirements of BS 4592-4 Industrial type flooring.
Fast Installation, No Maintenance
Lightweight panels can be installed without heavy equipment and removed for maintenance access as required. No painting, sealing, or corrosion maintenance is ever required.
Deck500 GRP Flooring for Water Treatment, Pedestrian Bridges, and Maintenance Platforms
Water Treatment
Deck500 is used for odour control covers, tank top access, and potable water system covers where water penetration prevention and chemical resistance are both required.
Pedestrian Bridges and Public Access
The gritted surface and independently verified load performance make Deck500 suitable for pedestrian bridge decks, footbridges, and public walkways with heavy foot traffic.
Rail and Utility Maintenance Platforms
Lightweight and non-conductive, Deck500 suits maintenance access structures on rail and utility sites. RISQS accredited supply available.

What Clients Say About Our Company
EXCELLENT Based on 10 reviews Posted on Peter Nicholson20/04/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The firm and staff were all excellent, the product was very well finished and all the advice given was very helpful, unfortunately it turned out to be of no use for my application, but this in no way reflects on the company that made an excellent product, I wanted a long tube to put an aerial inside it, fibreglass is normally transparent to radio signals, but something in the make up of the fibreglass tube was totally blocking the radio signals from getting out of the tube, the problem is possibly to do with the colouring agent, the tube I had was grey, darker colours can often cause problems for aerials, possibly if I'd chosen yellow, the other colour offered by the firm it may have worked well, but all this is my problem, not the company that made the tube, the tube is Very well made and nicely finished off, the staff could not have been more helpful, despite my problems this is a Highly Recommended firm.
